Our Editor in Chief, Roann Gutierrez, sat down with Youtuber and Director of NIXIE David Akinola - aka The Storyteller, to discuss the creative process of his brand new and exciting fantasy story game, providing both fun and escapism for a new generation of gamers.
His exquisite talent for engaging storytelling and world building in combination with his love for gaming were the perfect mix in getting this long awaited game kickstarted.
Listening to how much time, money and passion David invested into this dream project was incredible to hear about. From building his team to raising money in the kickstarter - which is still open to donations here - to learning what it takes to be a successful leader; so much can be learnt from David and his journey.
We look forward to the official launch of the game and we believe that what he is doing is revolutionary for the gaming world. Representation within the gaming community is definitely something even a non-gamer can recognise is needed. Through NIXIE, David is changing the game; one player, one story and one voice at a time.
